Welcome to the A-1 Chapter!

The A-1 Chapter was founded on October 4, 1975 following an organizational meeting among beer enthusiasts in Arizona.  The meeting was held at the Carling-National Brewing Company in Phoenix with 25 participants in attendance. 

Our chapter comprises of individuals who enjoy all aspects of beer and brewing history.  Collecting interests vary among individuals and may include vintage advertising trays, signs, beer cans, microbrewery items, or anything tied to breweries.  On average, our membership consists of approximately 90 members from across the country.  Our National organization is the Brewery Collectibles Club of America (BCCA).   We are also a Dual Chapter Affiliate of the American Breweriana Association (ABA).

The A-1 Chapter hosts five or six buy/sell/trade sessions in various locations throughout Arizona.  Our 10 page full-color newsletter, the Can-O-Gram, includes a calendar of upcoming events, photographs, auction results, beer related stories, local micro-brewery updates and more.

If you enjoy collecting breweriana or simply love beer and beer culture, check us out!  We are staunch supporters of the local craft beer movement.
